SAMMY AWUKU PREDICTS NPP WILL OUTPERFORM 2020 RESULTS IN 2024 ELECTION

In a recent interview on Joy TV, Sammy Awuku, a key member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), expressed strong confidence that the party will outperform its 2020 election results in the upcoming 2024 elections.

Awuku emphasized that the December 2024 election will be a decisive moment for Ghana, framing it as a battle between the country’s past and its future. He pointed out that the NPP’s achievements in recent years have shaped the present reality for Ghanaians, and voters must choose whether they want to continue on the path of progress or return to past leadership.

The 2024 election is about the present and the future. The present is the NPP’s reality — a difficult economy, yes, but also one shaped by our leadership and actions,

On December 7th, voters will face a choice between Ghana’s past and Ghana’s future.

Awuku stated.

He also criticized the opposition, particularly the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and their presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, arguing that a vote for Mahama would lead to a leadership that is unlikely to be held accountable for past mistakes. According to Awuku, Mahama’s return to power would mean that he would have just one term to deliver results without any clear vision for the future.

In contrast, Awuku lauded Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s vice-presidential candidate, as the candidate of solutions and progress. He stressed that under Bawumia’s leadership, Ghana would have a future-oriented president committed to delivering for the people.

If Dr. Bawumia becomes president and performs to the satisfaction of Ghanaians, he will return to the people for a second term. Bawumia is the future, offering the solutions that Ghana needs.

Awuku affirmed.

Awuku’s comments highlight the NPP’s belief that the 2024 election will be a defining moment, with the party’s message of progress and solutions resonating with voters. He urged Ghanaians to make their voices heard on election day, as their decision will shape the future of the country.
