The Founder of the Philadelphia Church of Ghana, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, has offered fervent prayers seeking divine favor for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections on Saturday.
Dr. Bawumia, currently concluding his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, attended the well-known church in Kumasi on Sunday, December 1, 2024, as part of his campaign activities.
Accompanied by his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, and several prominent party members, Dr. Bawumia received an enthusiastic reception from the large congregation, which was led by the founder and leader, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.
The pastor conducted an extensive prayer session for Dr. Bawumia’s electoral success. Prior to this powerful prayer, the founder shared a heartfelt account of how Dr. Bawumia had surprised him with a bus filled with supplies to assist with his father’s funeral.
Having praised Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional character, Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah led an extensive intercession, calling upon God’s sovereignty to ensure Bawumia’s victory.
Lord, it is you who installs kings, and we plead for your favours on you servant.
Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah repeatedly emphasized during the intercession. While he continued his prayers, extolling God with various attributes, Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah beseeched God, expressing a desire for it to be feasible, in reference to the election of Dr. Bawumia as President of the Republic on December 7.
