The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia begins his campaign tour in the Eastern Region today.
During a breakfast meeting with Regional Religious leaders in Akropong, Dr. Bawumia stressed that everything must be geared towards fostering national unity and peaceful coexistence.

Dr. Bawumia believes that Ghanaians should strive to remain united despite their diversity, as God has demonstrated love and mercy without bias. Dr. Bawumia emphasized that Ghanaians are one people and God can use anyone to cause change in our society, highlighting that, He is ready to serve the Republic of Ghana.
Dr. Bawumia preaches peace and tranquility despite different backgrounds and differences in the upcoming general elections.
