The Member of Parliament for Atiwa East, Abena Osei-Asare, has reiterated the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s firm commitment to partnering with faith-based organizations to advance the national development agenda.
She stated that, if given the mandate, Dr. Bawumia’s government will continue to support these organizations in creating a brighter future for the country through innovative policies and programs.
Abena Osei-Asare made these remarks as a guest speaker at the Annual Camp Meeting of the Akyem Sekyere District Seventh Day Church in Abakoase, Eastern Region. The event was themed “I Will Go: Chosen for the Mission.”
During her address to the church, the MP and Minister of State at the Finance Ministry encouraged the youth to fully commit to their mission, emphasizing the significance of education and responsible citizenship.
I urge the youth of this church to embrace their mission with determination. It is crucial for them to be responsible citizens and take their education seriously, as education is key to unlocking development,
She also highlighted various government initiatives designed to alleviate the people’s burdens and encouraged attendees to vote for her and the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, in the December 7 elections.
We are a government focused on the welfare of the people. The positive impact of our policies, from free SHS to digitalization programs, is evident. It’s only fitting to extend our mandate by voting in large numbers for Dr. Bawumia on December 7, so we can continue implementing programs that ease the burden on Ghanaians,
she explained.
