Actor and activist Prince David Osei urged Ghanaians to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Matthew Opoku Prempeh in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the 2024 NPP Manifesto Launch held at GSTS, Takoradi on August 18, 2024, Osei highlighted the importance of voting for the NPP as a path to prosperity and progress. Osei acknowledged the global economic challenges, noting, that despite these hardships, the NPP offers a beacon of hope and progress.
I know times are hard. It’s global. The UK is just recovering from recession. America is tough. Canada is tough. Our neighboring countries, Nigeria, are equally tough.
Reflecting on past achievements, Osei recalled past crises such as the COVID 19 he also stressed that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership will continue this legacy of support and advancement.
Furthermore, he casutioned Ghanaians on voting for the alternative, [The NDC].
During the COVID pandemic era, SME’s money was given to small-scale businesses. We enjoyed free lights and free water.
The alternative will send us into an abyss of disaster. There is nothing the alternative can offer.
Osei urged voters to choose progress and digitization, citing improvements like the digital property address system and the streamlined Ghana Card services.
