The Ada Traditional Council’s leaders have commended the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for his contributions to the implementation and continuity of the Free Senior High School policy.
They expressed their appreciation for his courageous decisions, which have earned their respect. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is currently undertaking a day tour of the Greater Accra Region, during which he will visit the chiefs of Ada, Prampram, Tema, and Nungua, and engage with constituents.
His first stop was at the palace of the Paramount Chief of the Ada Traditional Council, Djetse Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III. Representing the Paramount chief, the Mankralo of Ada, Nene Obichere, conveyed the gratitude of the chiefs and people of Ada for Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s role in the success of the Free SHS policy, which has had a positive impact on both the less privileged and the affluent.
The chiefs also made an appeal to him to assist in repairing their dilapidated roads in order to attract tourists during their Asafotufiam festival.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh assured them that the development of Ada is a top priority for him, and he is committed to ensuring that they receive their fair share of development.
