AFENYO-MARKIN URGES GHANAIANS TO ENSURE A PEACEFUL ELECTION 2024

Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has urged Ghanaians to prioritize peace and security as the country prepares for the December 2024 elections.

Speaking to constituents in Winneba, he highlighted the need for tolerance and restraint throughout the election period, encouraging citizens to refrain from actions that could threaten the nation’s stability.

He also called on political parties, supporters, and all stakeholders to collaborate in protecting Ghana’s standing as a leading democracy in Africa.

December 7 will come and go. But your relationship with your friend is important. We, the political class, at the level of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, President Akufo-Addo, the former president who is the candidate for the opposition party, down to us, the parliamentarians, we are friends. We are not enemies. Don’t get us wrong
