AKOMADAN CHIEF ENDORSES DR. BAWUMIA

The Omanhene of the Akomadan Traditional Area, Nana Boakye Akuamoah Boateng II, has expressed his support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming presidential election.

The traditional leader lauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate for his outstanding leadership qualities, numerous initiatives, and altruistic actions, characterizing him as intelligent, visionary, and worthy of leadership.

These comments were made during Dr. Bawumia’s engagement with key stakeholders at Nkenkenso in the Offinso North Constituency, as part of his tour of the Ashanti Region, which was on its second day.

Nana Akuamoah Boateng II particularly emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s contributions to the digital transformation of Ghana, which he believes will propel the nation forward, as well as his generosity towards the less fortunate, including his initiative to build a house for a destitute woman in the Upper West Region.

The Omanhene further praised Dr. Bawumia’s humility, referencing his birthday celebrations with individuals affected by leprosy. He remarked that Dr. Bawumia stands out as “an exception among all the Vice Presidents Ghana has ever had,” asserting that his contributions to the country are “beyond comprehension.”

The digital revolution he is trying to bring to the country is something that will help develop Ghana because that is the path every developed country follows. Some will say we should wait for the next 20 years, but he knows it is possible because we can do it.

This is a man who celebrates his birthday by not only throwing a party for lepers but actually sitting and eating with them. Selfless people like this are not easy to come by.

The Omanhene characterized Dr. Bawumia as both intelligent and visionary, emphasizing his leadership qualities rooted in love and profound compassion.

He also conveyed his appreciation to the government for the numerous initiatives introduced in the region. Furthermore, he pledged to keep Dr. Bawumia in his prayers, stating

May the Lord bless your going out and coming in, and keep you safely for Ghana, to enable you to continue the good works you have been doing beyond this election.
