AKUFO-ADDO AND DR. BAWUMIA’S ADMINISTARTION HAS SET A REMARKABLE RECORD IN GHAN’S EDUCATION HISTORY – KOFI OFOSU NKANSAH

Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP), has commended the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration for what he considers the most remarkable achievements in education in Ghana’s history.

He asserts that the government’s educational initiatives, particularly the Free Senior High School (SHS) program, have significantly transformed the educational landscape and increased accessibility for students nationwide.

Nkansah noted that these initiatives have allowed countless young Ghanaians to access education that would have been financially unattainable for them otherwise. In a Facebook statement on Thursday, September 26, he underscored the substantial progress made in enhancing infrastructure within educational institutions.

He cited the construction and renovation of classroom facilities, dormitories, and other vital amenities in schools as evidence of the administration’s dedication to elevating the quality of education in Ghana. These advancements, he contended, create more favorable learning environments, which in turn promote improved academic performance.

Additionally, he emphasized the government’s commitment to expanding technical and vocational education and training (TVET). According to Nkansah, this strategic focus not only equips students with essential skills for success in the job market but also meets the increasing demand for skilled labor in the nation’s industrial sectors.

He argued that the expansion of TVET is a crucial component of the government’s strategy to generate employment opportunities and mitigate youth unemployment.

Mr. Nkansah remarked that the education policies of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration have established a legacy that will benefit generations to come.

He encouraged Ghanaians to acknowledge these accomplishments and to continue supporting the government’s initiatives aimed at fostering ongoing development in the education sector.
