AKUFO-ADDO/BAWUMIA GOVERNMENT HOLDS THE BEST EDUCATION RECORD IN GHANA’S HISTORY – OFOSU NKANSAH

Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP), has commended the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government for what he calls the best track record in Ghana’s education history.

He believes that the government’s education policies, especially the Free Senior High School (SHS) initiative, have revolutionized the sector by expanding access to education for students nationwide.

According to Nkansah, these policies have enabled thousands of young Ghanaians to pursue education that would have been out of reach due to financial challenges.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, September 26, he emphasized the government’s significant progress in infrastructure development across educational institutions.

Nkansah highlighted the construction and rehabilitation of classroom blocks, dormitories, and other key facilities as evidence of the administration’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education in Ghana.

He argued that these improvements provide students with better learning environments, leading to improved academic performance.

Additionally, Nkansah underscored the government’s focus on expanding technical and vocational education (TVET).

He noted that this shift not only equips students with practical skills for the job market but also meets the growing demand for skilled labor in the country’s industrial sectors.

He described TVET expansion as a crucial element of the government’s efforts to create employment and reduce youth unemployment.

Nkansah concluded by saying that the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration’s education policies have left a lasting legacy that will benefit future generations. He urged Ghanaians to acknowledge these achievements and continue supporting the government’s initiatives for sustained growth in the education sector.
