AKUFO-ADDO TO COMMISSION OVER 80 EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS TODAY

President Nana Akufo-Addo is scheduled to commission more than 80 educational projects today, November 21, 2024, across the country.

This is part of the government’s continued efforts to provide modern facilities that cater to the diverse needs of students and enhance access to quality education.

The inauguration will be led by Akufo-Addo and will occur simultaneously at both the district and regional levels.

The Ministry of Education has confirmed that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum will accompany the President in officiating the events.

The ceremonies will be broadcast live on major television networks and social media platforms, allowing for nationwide participation.

The educational projects span a wide range of needs, from basic schools to senior high schools and technical institutions.

They include STEM-focused schools, E-blocks, and kindergarten facilities aimed at supporting early childhood education.

Noteworthy projects include the Kpasenkpe Model STEM SHS in the West Mamprusi District, the Accra STEM Academy in La-Nkwantanang-Madina, and the Awaso Model STEM SHS in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai.

Additional projects feature a 12-unit classroom block at Salem D/A Basic in Atwima Mponua, along with two-unit kindergarten blocks in communities such as Fremasi D/A Primary in Assin South.
