Mr. William Benjamin Assuah, a former Western North Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has confidently stated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer, has demonstrated exceptional leadership as Vice President, and believes Ghanaians will elect him as the next president on December 7.
During a campaign tour of the Kankyiabo, Kama, and Ahibenso electoral areas in the Sefwi Bodi Constituency, Mr. Assuah engaged with locals, stressing the NPP government’s commitment to the well-being of the people through various developmental projects.
He highlighted significant accomplishments under the NPP administration, including the Agenda 111 initiative, the establishment of the Western North Regional Health Directorate, the construction of vital infrastructure such as the circuit court and judges’ bungalow, communication masts, and the critical Sefwi-Bodi to Ahibenso road. He also mentioned the development of regional medical stores, underscoring the party’s dedication to enhancing public services.
Mr. Assuah further emphasized the need to revitalize political engagement in Sefwi-Bodi, calling for fresh ideas to propel the constituency’s growth. He urged the youth to rally behind Mr. Nicholas Andoh, the NPP parliamentary candidate, and Dr. Bawumia, highlighting the party’s plans to create jobs in the digital space, entrepreneurship, and skill development sectors.
“Young people of this constituency have the opportunity to secure better job prospects and play a vital role in shaping a brighter future under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP’s manifesto,” Mr. Assuah remarked.
He called on party members to actively support and promote the positive narratives of both the parliamentary and presidential candidates, stressing the importance of unity within the party. Mr. Assuah urged for a cohesive front as the December elections approach, with the goal of securing victory and achieving the NPP’s ambition of “breaking the eight.”
