Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer, assured the chiefs and residents of Kenyasi Number One in the Asutifi North Constituency, Ahafo Region, that the ongoing road construction would be completed before the December 2024 elections.
During a courtesy visit to the Chief of Kenyasi Number One, Dr. Bawumia announced that the contractor responsible for the project would soon resume work, with the initial asphalt layer set to be laid in the coming days.
Nananom, I recognize how crucial the Kenyasi road is to this community. I’ve spoken with the contractor to ensure the road is completed before the December polls.
Within a week, the first asphalt layer will be in place, significantly improving the road’s condition. The contractor’s equipment is now on-site, so rest assured, it will be completed by December 7.
Dr. Bawumia further highlighted his commitment to enhancing education within the constituency, promising to improve both access and quality for all residents.
As day two of his Ahafo Region tour begins, Dr. Bawumia is set to visit the remaining three constituencies: Asutifi North, Tano North, and Tano South.
The NPP flagbearer intends to meet with local chiefs, pastors, imams, and party supporters, sharing his vision and explaining why he believes Ghanaians should entrust him with their vote.
