Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has underscored the importance of the free senior high school policy, emphasizing its benefits to Ghanaians.
As part of his ‘It Is Possible’ campaign, Dr. Bawumia visited the Bono East Region on Tuesday, engaging with chiefs, stakeholders, and citizens to rally support for the 2024 general elections.
During his campaign, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the successful implementation of the free senior high school policy by the NPP government. He noted that many Ghanaians have benefited from this initiative and that the NPP should be recognized for its efforts.

Dr. Bawumia then continued his campaign in the Eastern Region, visiting the Abetifi and Mpraeso constituencies.
The paramount chiefs of Mpraeso praised Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and encouraged Ghanaians to disregard the ‘liar’ label attributed to him by opposition figures.
They acknowledged his contributions to Ghana’s progress, noting that the country now ranks among the top three globally in various areas.
Many are quick to label Dr. Bawumia as a liar. However, all his statements are beneficial, and he’s a strong leader. Thanks to his efforts, Ghana is now ranked among the top three in the world in several areas.
