President Nana Akufo-Addo has emphasized the strong bond between himself and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, highlighting the seamless access Dr. Bawumia has to his office.
During his tour of the Savannah Region on Monday, October 15, the President noted that Dr. Bawumia does not require an appointment or prior notice to meet with him, underscoring their open communication and close collaboration.
Akufo-Addo shared that Dr. Bawumia can walk into his office whenever he deems necessary, a testament to the mutual trust and respect they have built over their time in office. This open door policy, he explained, is key to ensuring effective governance and facilitating timely discussions on important national matters.
The President also expressed his unwavering trust and confidence in Dr. Bawumia, acknowledging the significant contributions and insights his Vice President provides to the administration.

In 2020/21, I was in my office when Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia walked in, and to this day, he comes in whenever he feels necessary. He doesn’t need an appointment or anything,
