First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has urged voters in the Odododiodoo constituency to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming presidential election on December 7th.
Speaking to supporters during a campaign stop in Agbogbloshie, Accra, she emphasized that Dr. Bawumia is the ideal candidate to continue the work initiated by her husband, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Mrs. Akufo-Addo highlighted the importance of maintaining key policies, such as the Free Senior High School program, which she regarded as one of the administration’s most transformative achievements.
She expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia is dedicated to upholding and expanding these initiatives for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
In her address, Mrs. Akufo-Addo praised Dr. Bawumia as a leader with both intellect and vision, particularly noting his exceptional economic expertise and experience.
She further stated that Dr. Bawumia’s proven track record in economic management showcases his ability to guide the nation toward continued progress and prosperity.
My husband, Akufo-Addo, introduced the Free SHS policy despite scepticism. He has rolled it out perfectly well over the last eight years, and the only one to continue this legacy is Dr. Bawumia. We know the roots of the policy, and it is only the NPP that can continue it effectively for progress
Dr. Bawumia is God’s gift to Ghana, and he is incomparable. He is the one who can ensure Ghana progress. Let us not be deceived into changing the NPP government. We must vote for continuity for the betterment of Ghana
