The Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West constituency, Bono Region, Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II, has praised Vice President and NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his clear vision to advance Ghana, particularly for the benefit of the youth.
During a campaign visit by Dr. Bawumia to Jinijini last night, Nana Baffour Tutu II described him as an “emerging star” whose vision is in sync with global trends.
To the youth of Ghana, your emerging star has arrived, and that star is Bawumia, the digital man. The entire world is going digital, so I urge all of you to vote for Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7 to move our country forward.
The Chief also praised the New Patriotic Party for its significant development efforts in the community since it became a district seven years ago.
We requested district status from the NPP government under President Akufo-Addo, and they delivered. Since then, the level of development we’ve experienced is remarkable—far surpassing what some districts with 40 years of existence have achieved,
he noted.
He highlighted key projects like the ongoing hospital construction under the government’s “Agenda 111” initiative and the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) equipment provided to the community.
Dr. Bawumia, in turn, expressed his deep gratitude to the Chiefs and the community for their overwhelming support.
He shared his plans to improve the living conditions of the people of Berekum West and Ghanaians in general, which was met with enthusiasm. Dr. Bawumia urged them to vote for him, emphasizing that his demonstrated vision for transformation stands in stark contrast to his opponent, John Mahama, who, despite serving as President, did not meet expectations.
