Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, has stated that supporting him will result in a “brand new, fresh President” who will find creative answers to Ghana’s problems.
During his four-day campaign trip of the Western Region, Dr. Bawumia, the Vice-President in office, spoke to NPP supporters at Kangbuinli, in the Ellembelle Constituency.
“Do you want a brand new or second-hand? If you want a brand new one, then vote for Bawumia. And also vote for Kwasi Bonzoh as your new Member of Parliament,” he stated.

Dr. Bawumia cited his achievements as Vice-President to support his claim that he should be the next leader of Ghana.
He compared his record to that of former President John Dramani Mahama, highlighting his role in the implementation of 33 government programs under his direction.
Before, traders and commercial drivers flocked to see the Vice-President and Mr. Bonzoh, abandoning their regular business simply to look at them.
