In a strategic effort to appeal to religious voters, Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia embarked on a surprise church tour in the Weija Constituency on Sunday.
Displaying his usual humility and charm, Bawumia visited four churches, where he spoke to congregants about his strong faith in divine guidance.
He emphasized his belief that “with God, all things are possible,” using biblical references to support his message.
During his spiritual outreach, Dr. Bawumia visited the Holiness Pentecostal Church, the Mandela Assembly of the Church of Pentecost, the Jerusalem Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, and the Church of Pentecost in Ayigbe Town, Kasoa Area.
At each location, he sought prayers for divine favor for himself and for Jerry, the NPP’s parliamentary candidate in the region.
Bawumia also encouraged stakeholders to focus on maintaining peace in Ghana, highlighting the importance of stability for the nation’s future.
On Sunday, Dr. Bawumia engaged with various stakeholders and attended churches in the Weija-Gbawe, Anyaa Sowutuom, Obom Domeabra, and Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.
He expressed his gratitude to all the churches, institutions, and ordinary Ghanaians who welcomed him and his vision for Ghana’s future with enthusiasm and who offered their suggestions and prayers for his success.
