Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has declared that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is panicking as they fear losing in the upcoming elections.
While addressing a crowd in Ho last night, Dr. Bawumia pointed out that the NDC’s anxious behavior reflects their awareness that victory is slipping away.
He also expressed surprise at the NDC’s newfound urgency to secure a majority in Parliament, particularly with only six weeks left before the elections.
It’s almost 9:30 pm, and Ho Central is buzzing. I can see why the NDC is panickingThey know that they are losing this election
He criticized the NDC for attempting to secure a majority in Parliament at this late stage, especially after being in the minority for the past eight years.
Just think about it—we have six weeks to an election, and their only concern is that they want to be a majority for six weeks when they have been a minority for eight years
Why? What is the rush? It is because they know they have lost the election, and they want to taste the majority position for six weeks
Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence that the NPP would triumph and achieve a solid majority in Parliament.
We are the majority, and we will be the majority party on December 7
NPP will win a decisive majority
He further emphasized the NPP’s dedication to remaining focused on their work, which he believes has garnered the party significant support.
Why are we going to win a decisive majority? It is because of the work we have done. We are getting support across every constituency because of the work we have done
