Dr. Gideon Boako, spokesperson for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed strong confidence in the Vice President’s capacity to deliver on his campaign promises ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Dr. Boako emphasized that Dr. Bawumia has consistently articulated his vision for Ghana’s future, which demonstrates his commitment to fulfilling those promises.
In an interview on Monday, October 7, Dr. Boako referred to Dr. Bawumia as a “promise keeper,” highlighting the Vice President’s proven track record in delivering on his commitments, particularly in digital transformation and economic reforms.
He pointed out that initiatives like the digitization of public services and mobile money interoperability have significantly enhanced the ease of doing business in the country.
Dr. Boako also underscored Bawumia’s ability to communicate his ideas effectively, which has garnered him the trust of many Ghanaians. He believes the Vice President’s focus on transforming critical sectors such as health, education, and infrastructure will lead to tangible improvements in the lives of citizens

Dr Bawumia has been consistent and he hasn’t changed his position. Since he first spoke at the UPSA, and the things that he said, he hasn’t changed anything or moved away from his ideas
If you look at his energy and the idea and his age, this is the right time that a country like Ghana needs to elect Dr Bawumia as President. He’s always been focused on his task and not corrupt or anything else. For the impact he has achieved as Vice President, there’s no doubt that he will be a fantastic president for the country
