BAWUMIA’S BALLOT POSITION SECURES HIS VICTORY WHILE SIGNALING TROUBLE FOR MAHAMA.

The ballot locations for the upcoming general election on December 7th are now confirmed, and the 13 candidates vying to build on the achievements of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo can now focus on their campaigns based on their ballot positions.

While ballot placement alone doesn’t guarantee success, it does provide a psychological and strategic edge. With Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party, positioned first, he gains increased visibility and prominence, instilling a sense of leadership that could positively influence voter decisions and facilitate campaigning for NPP parliamentary candidates.

In contrast, former President Mahama, the flagbearer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), is placed eighth. This disparity may lead to confusion, as NDC parliamentary candidates will struggle to align their positioning with that of their flagbearer, potentially creating chaos that could hinder Mahama’s chances.

The number 8 selection by Mahama is also interpreted as a sign that Dr. Bawumia is destined to be the next president. Under H.E. Nana Addo, Mahama became Ghana’s only living one-term president, and Dr. Bawumia’s leadership will break the historical eight-year cycle of alternating political parties in the Fourth Republic, likely leading to Mahama’s political retirement.

Dr. Bawumia embodies dynamism and serves as an inspiration to both this generation and the next. His leadership has significantly advanced digitalization, financial inclusion, and infrastructure development through initiatives like the DRIP, which he spearheaded.

With his proven track record, Dr. Bawumia stands out as the candidate best equipped to guide Ghana into its next chapter—he is number ONE.
