The Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region has seen a burst of energy as Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, widely known as Chairman Wontumi, conducted a door-to-door campaign for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer.
Throughout his tour, Chairman Wontumi, who is often surrounded by large crowds, interacted with various groups including chiefs, religious leaders, youth, and traders.
He visited busy market centers in Barekese, Asuofia-Asamang, and Koforidua, engaging with people both in the streets and at their homes. He also inspected local projects such as the Agenda 111 project in Barekese and the John Agyekum Kufuor TVET Centre in Dabaa.
Chairman Wontumi’s tour has energized the party’s grassroots as they prepare for the December 2024 elections, showcasing his steadfast commitment to achieving the party’s goal of securing 85% of the vote in the Ashanti Region.
