The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, announced that starting next year, COCOBOD will cover the university tuition fees for all children of cocoa farmers who gain admission.
Speaking at this year’s Farmers’ Day celebrations in the Odotobri Constituency, Amansie Central Assembly, where he addressed chiefs, clergy, and Muslim clerics, Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence that this initiative will ease the financial burden on parents.
