Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has reaffirmed his dedication to creating a unified Ghana that ensures equal opportunities for all, should he be elected President.
During a visit to the Chief of the Ashaiman Ewe Community and his elders on Tuesday, as part of his campaign tour in the Ashaiman Constituency, Dr. Bawumia expressed his vision for a Ghana where every citizen, irrespective of ethnicity or religion, has an equal chance to thrive.
My priority is building one Ghana with opportunities for everyone,
When I see people, I don’t focus on their religion or tribe; I see a fellow human being,
he added, emphasizing his commitment to unity and inclusiveness.
Dr. Bawumia called on the Ewe community in Ashaiman, as well as all Ghanaians, to support him, assuring that his leadership would focus on uplifting the vulnerable and marginalized.
He further highlighted his ongoing efforts to support disadvantaged groups, citing his role as patron of the Lepers Council of Ghana and his work aiding sickle cell and kidney patients.
I have always sought to support those who are vulnerable in society,
he said, reiterating his passion for social initiatives.
The Vice President also assured the Ashaiman community that their trust would not be misplaced.
He promised that, under his leadership, their needs would be a priority as part of his inclusive development plan for all Ghanaians.
I do not take your support for granted. If you place your trust in me and the MP, we will work tirelessly to address your needs and bring progress to Ashaiman,
Dr. Bawumia pledged.
His message echoed his larger campaign theme of unity and creating opportunities for every Ghanaian, no matter their background.
