DESPITE THE ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES, THE NDC IS NOT A SAFE CHOICE – KENNEDY AGYAPONG

Kennedy Agyapong, a former Presidential aspirant of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has teamed up with his former contender, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his Ashanti regional tour.

In his charismatic manner, Kennedy Agyepong, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, emphasized that former President Mahama and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) were not the right choice for Ghanaians.

He further expressed his concerns about the NDC as a party, describing it as a dangerous option. According to him, Ghanaians who plan to vote for the NDC’s flag bearer do so at their own risk, as he believes that the former President has nothing substantial to offer the people of Ghana.

Kennedy Agyapong, a successful entrepreneur with multiple companies and businesses, stated that despite the recent economic challenges, the NDC is not a viable option that anyone should consider.

During his address to traders at the Kejetia Market, Kennedy Agyapong, who is currently serving his final term in parliament, urged the people of the Ashanti Region, known as the stronghold of the ruling NPP government, to have faith in Dr. Bawumia’s vision and promises, and to vote overwhelmingly for him in the upcoming December 7 general elections.

Contrary to speculations about the NPP’s declining popularity in the Ashanti region, Mr. Agyapong dismissed such claims and challenged anyone who believes that the NPP has lost its connection with its stronghold to reconsider their perspective.

As a businessman and politician, I understand both politics and business. I acknowledge the current hardships, but when you vote, remember that the NDC is not a viable option—they are very dangerous.

Be cautious. Under the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government, we’ve covered fees under Free SHS and even provided uniforms for your children.

Even in developed countries, governments don’t buy uniforms for students. So, I urge all of you to recognize that even developed countries are facing economic crises. Don’t be deceived by false promises. Remember the NDC’s past governance. Let’s all support Bawumia.
