Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, together with the Minister for Education, Hon Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Ga Mantse King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Minister-designate for Greater Accra, Hon Titus Glover, and the Mayor of Accra, Hon Elizabeth Sackey, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Mother Teresa Soup Kitchen (MTSK) at the Sempe Cluster of Schools, Mamprobi earlier today, alongside Rev Fr Andrew Campbell.
This marks the second Soup Kitchen initiative organized by Rev Fr Campbell, with the generous support of many, to ensure that the destitute and homeless children on the streets of Accra receive at least one nourishing meal per day.
The land for the project was graciously provided by His Royal Majesty the Ga Mantse, and we express our deepest gratitude for his positive response to the Minister for Education’s request.
