Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Communications Director of the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign team, has expressed confidence in the victory of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
He stated that the Vice President’s popularity is such that if elections were to take place today, he would emerge victorious in nearly all the regions of Ghana.
During an interview on Asaase Radio, Mr. Aboagye expressed his belief that Dr. Bawumia will emerge victorious in all the regions of Ghana, specifically highlighting the Volta Region.
If the election is held today, it is possible for Dr. Bawumia to win all the regions but the Volta Region.
Additionally, he mentioned that the NPP’s presidential candidate’s grassroots campaign has received positive feedback from the people of Ghana.
If you see Dr Mahamudu Bawumia seated on someone’s bench in his house, that is what he is doing. If you see him in somebody’s shop, that is what he is doing, he is giving them the message.
He is not going to stop. It is a permanent feature of his campaign. In fact, we are placing a lot more weight in terms of time we are going to spend on the door-to door than we are placing on any other.
Bawumia commenced his door-to-door campaign in Dome last week, where the market women greeted his campaign team with cheers and a warm welcome.
