The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cut sod for the works to commence on the first tertiary-level training institution on July 14 2024 in Karaga during his campaign tour.
Dr. Bawumia stated that Namburugu STEM College of Education will become the primary source for instructors who will teach at the various STEM schools the NPP government has established.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of November this year. The government remains committed to a comprehensive STEM programme that prepares the youth for the future
