The Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has committed to funding the restoration of the Bole Central Mosque in response to a request from the Bole Muslim community.
During his visit to the Bolewura as part of his campaign tour of the region, Dr. Bawumia was informed of the community’s needs, which included the transformation of Bole into a municipal assembly, the improvement of their market, and the repair of the Sawla road.
A representative of the Bolewura passionately appealed for the renovation of their mosque, to which Dr. Bawumia agreed and expressed his dedication to the cause.
I have asked the parliamentary candidate and the Chairman to go and take a look at it and give me the estimate and I will finance the rehabilitation.
It is important to mention that the Bole mosque is not the initial project that the NPP flagbearer has overseen and successfully completed; he has personally funded numerous infrastructure development projects.
