National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mustapha Salam, has expressed his belief that Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate for 2024, is in a better position to strengthen the socio-economic progress that Ghana has achieved over the past seven years.
During an interview with Kwaku Nhyira-Addo on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Tuesday (23 April), Mustapha emphasized that Bawumia is the leader who can propel Ghana to the next level. Mustapha stated that the flagbearer of the opposition party lacks the necessary leadership qualities to effectively improve the country’s fortunes.
Eight years in, eight years out has not really helped Ghana. I think that where we have gotten to, consistency is what Ghana really needs. We need a leader who can consolidate the gains that we have made under Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and I think that on any comparative analysis or discussion, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is far better than Mahama in every facet of judgement.
He mentioned that when it comes to leadership qualities, Bawumia surpasses his opponents by far. Therefore, in order to seek truth and progress, it is imperative to vote for a superior leader, the most suitable individual to lead the country to greater heights is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
In terms of attributes of leadership, Bawumia far outweighs Mahama. So, I think if we want truth, if we want progress, we will be voting for a far better leader, the best person who can take us to the next level is Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
