Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stated that Ghanaians are increasingly recognizing the progress made by the NPP government over the past seven and a half years.
In a social media post on Tuesday, July 23, following campaign engagements in the Upper West Region, Dr. Bawumia expressed that Ghanaians are becoming “increasingly sophisticated” and are better appreciating the positive impact of policies under President Nana Akufo-Addo’s leadership.
“The average Ghanaian is becoming increasingly sophisticated, accessing up-to-date information on world events and better appreciating the strides made so far in Ghana and the impact of my vision on future generations,” Dr. Bawumia wrote.
As the 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Bawumia has been emphasizing the progress achieved under his and President Akufo-Addo’s tenure. Key areas of development highlighted include expanding access to education, advancing digitalization efforts, and improving infrastructure.
“With the help of all Ghanaians, it is indeed possible for the NPP to retain power and continue their development agenda,” he affirmed.
Dr. Bawumia’s campaign efforts in the Upper West Region and his confident messaging reflect the NPP’s strategy to highlight their achievements while addressing economic concerns. As the 2024 elections approach, the NPP aims to convince Ghanaians that their leadership is essential for the country’s continued progress.
