Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s flagbearer, continued his constituency-focused tour today, Sunday, September 1st, by visiting several churches in Domeabra-Obom, Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro, Weija-Gbawe, and Anyaa/Sowutuom. His visits to The Church of Pentecost, Kasoa Area at Ayigbe Town, the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, New Jerusalem Assembly, The Church of Pentecost, Mandela Assembly at New Weija, and the Holiness Pentecostal Church at New Gbawe showcased his commitment to promoting unity and religious tolerance in Ghana.
At each church, Dr. Bawumia was warmly received by congregants who appreciated his efforts to engage directly with people of all faiths. At The Church of Pentecost, Kasoa Area, Ayigbe Town, Sunday school children prayed for his victory in the 2024 elections, showing the hope that many have in his leadership.
Dr. Bawumia’s presence at these churches reflects his belief that Ghana’s strength lies in its diversity and that religious harmony is key to the country’s progress. As a Muslim who respects all religious traditions, Dr. Bawumia is uniquely positioned to bridge divides and promote peace among all Ghanaians.
His vision for Ghana is not just about economic growth but also about fostering a society where all people—regardless of their faith—can live together peacefully and contribute to the nation’s development. Dr. Bawumia has shown that his leadership is about unity, understanding, and working together for a better Ghana.
By visiting these churches, Dr. Bawumia demonstrates that he is a leader who values every Ghanaian and is committed to a Ghana where everyone feels included and respected. As we approach the 2024 elections, it is clear that his message of unity and tolerance is what the country needs to move forward.
