The Chief of Jinijini in the Berekum West constituency of the Bono Region, Nana Asare Baffour Tutu II, has expressed that the Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has exhibited a distinct vision aimed at advancing Ghana and enhancing opportunities for the youth.
During Dr. Bawumia’s campaign visit to Jinijini last evening, Nana Baffour Tutu II characterized Bawumia as an “emerging star,” whose vision is in harmony with global trends.
To the youth of Ghana, I say your emerging star is here. He is Bawumia, the digital man…The whole world is going digital, so I want to urge you that on December 7, let us all vote for Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia to move our country forward.
The Chief also praised the New Patriotic Party for its significant contributions to the community since the region was designated as a district seven years ago.
We asked the NPP government of President Akufo-Addo to grant us district and that has been duly done…Since then, the level of development we have received here is unimaginable. The level of development we have had in seven years, some districts which have been in existence for about 40 years don’t even have.
The Chief praised the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, highlighting significant initiatives such as the ongoing construction of a hospital under the government’s “Agenda 111” and the provision of equipment for the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) to the community and all districts nationwide.
In response, Dr. Bawumia conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the Chiefs and the local populace for their overwhelming support and affection. He outlined his policies aimed at enhancing the living standards of the residents and Ghanaians as a whole, which generated enthusiasm among those present.
Dr. Bawumia encouraged the constituents of Berekum West to cast their votes in his favor, emphasizing that he has consistently demonstrated a vision for the nation’s transformation, in contrast to his opponent, John Mahama, who, despite having previously served as President, did not meet the expectations of the people.
