Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah, the Deputy Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has characterized the party’s flagbearer, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a leader capable of driving transformation.
He asserted that Former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), does not measure up to Dr. Bawumia. According to him, Dr. Bawumia’s vision and commitment are essential for the country’s transformation.
Bawumia is a transformational leader,” he told a journalist in Accra on Thursday, August 1.
the way Dr Bawumia conducts himself shows that Ghana has a future, it shows we have a transformational leader, who is committed to the development of Ghana.
Owusu-Bempah further refuted the allegations made by the NDC, which labeled Dr. Bawumia as a liar. He challenged the NDC to identify a specific instance in which the Vice President has made a statement that has not been realized, which would justify their accusations.
In his view, every assertion made by Dr. Bawumia regarding the economy has proven to be accurate, thus rendering the NDC’s attempts to brand him a liar ineffective.
Dr. Bawumia has encountered criticism, particularly from the NDC, concerning his failure to deliver on certain campaign commitments, which has contributed to the ‘liar’ designation. He is preparing to run in the 2024 elections as the candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
What has Bawumia said that has not come to pass that the NDC claims he is a liar? We are daring the NDC to come out and tell us, through his political career, what Bawumia said he would do that he didn’t.
