The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, left a trail of excitement and passion behind him on Saturday as he brought his high-energy campaign to the Asene Manso Akroso constituency in the Eastern Region.
At the start of the day, Bawumia gave a presentation to stakeholders on his vision for the nation and the region, emphasizing his goals for infrastructure development, job creation, and economic growth.
The crowd was thrilled during the community involvement session, though.
As the vice president walked through the streets, meeting people and shaking hands, thousands of locals swarmed him, hoping to get a glimpse of him.
Speaking at a massive rally at Akroso, Dr. Bawumia emphasized his commitment to modernizing agriculture, guaranteeing food security, and raising farmer incomes as he laid out his entire vision for Ghana’s future.
He promised to build agricultural hubs, upgrade irrigation systems, and give farmers access to capital and markets.
Recognizing the chiefs’ crucial role in Ghana’s development, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia pledged to fortify their institutions and give them more authority to spearhead regional development.
He gave them his word that he would back their initiatives to advance harmony, peace, and development.
Additionally, Dr. Bawumia outlined his goals to quicken Ghana’s digital transition by utilizing technology to advance economic expansion, strengthen public administration, and improve the quality of life for all Ghanaians.
He committed to creating a digital skills training program, e-commerce promotion, and infrastructure expansion.
Dr. Bawumia went on to discuss the urgent problem of youth unemployment, laying out his plan to give young people chances and work.
