Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, paid a courtesy call to the Bono East Regional House of Chiefs during his campaign tour, emphasizing the need for tolerance, unity, and peace to drive development in Ghana.
He noted that neighboring countries face various challenges, but Ghana is blessed with unity, peace, and tolerance.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted the NPP government’s achievement in creating six additional regions, a feat no government had accomplished since 1983. He stated that his expansion has enhanced development in every region.
As part of his campaign tour, Dr. Bawumia has visited Eastern, Western, Ahafo, Bono, and now Bono East regions, seeking votes ahead of the 2024 general elections in December.
