DR. BAWUMIA URGES SANKORE RESIDENTS TO AVIOD ‘SKIRT AND BLOUSE’ VOTING

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the NPP, has urged the residents of Sankore in the Asunafo South Constituency to refrain from voting in a ‘skirt and blouse’ manner in the upcoming elections.

He emphasized that such voting behavior would not be beneficial to his administration.

Don’t vote skirt and blouse. Let’s vote straight.

The term ‘skirt and blouse’ refers to a scenario in which voters select a parliamentary candidate from one political party while opting for the presidential candidate from a different party.

In a meeting with various stakeholders, including traditional leaders, religious figures, and Islamic clerics, the flagbearer promised the community that they would be considered for appointments in his administration upon his victory.

As for me Sankore here, I want to promise you that if you vote for me to come, I will appoint somebody from Sankore to my government. So vote for us, all of us are on number one, vote for the member of parliament Adusei Opoku, and vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The flagbearer once more assured the residents of Sankore of their commitment to supporting farmers in leading the advancement of agriculture within the nation.

Agriculture is going to be my number one priority, in Ghana here our main occupation is agriculture, over sixty percent of Ghanaians are farmers. So, I want to use our resources, knowledge, and digitalization to spearhead the growth of agriculture.
