The campaign team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has committed to implementing a door-to-door campaign approach in preparation for the upcoming 2024 national elections.
Dr Bawumia made this commitment, after visiting the Dome-Kwabenya constituency and engaging with market women and residents. His visit to the Eastern Region was part of a two-day campaign tour, during which he presented various plans to bring about transformation in the country if he is elected into power.
The campaign team’s schedule involves traveling from the Eastern Region to the Western Region, where the Vice President will be involved in the commissioning of the Appiatse resettlement project.
The team, however, decided to halt in the Greater Accra Region, particularly in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, to connect with constituents. Upon reaching the Atomic Goil filling station, the traveling team received a warm welcome from enthusiastic supporters.
Subsequently, they proceeded to the Dome market, where Dr. Bawumia engaged with traders and visited various communities within Taifa. Sammi Awuku, a member of the Bawumia campaign team, emphasized that the objective of these interactions is to convey Dr. Bawumia’s message of hope and a promising future for Ghana post-2024.
This is happening and also to share his message of hope and a brighter future for the Ghanaian people beyond 2024. The tour has been awesome.
Mr. Awuku expressed that the tour has been truly motivating, as individuals continue to have faith in the NPP’s competence to handle worldwide and domestic obstacles and enhance their quality of life.
Well in spite of even the challenges we are facing globally and locally, people are still confident that the NPP are better managers of the situation and the economy and they’re very confident that a Bawumia government will also improve their living conditions and more or less further the course of young people in the country.
