DR. BAWUMIA WILL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF GHANA – WONTUMI DECLARES

The Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely recognized as “Chairman Wontumi,” has expressed strong confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s success in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

Bawumia will be the next President of Ghana.

This election is a clear path to victory for the NPP. I urge each of you to go to the polling stations in large numbers, cast your votes, and stay vigilant to protect the ballot until Dr Bawumia is officially declared the next President of the Republic of Ghana.

Remember, he is not in this alone—when you vote for Dr Bawumia, also cast your ballot to support the NPP parliamentary candidate, ensuring a united and strong leadership for our future.

Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour through the Ashanti Region included a rally aimed at reinforcing connections with the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) support base and communicating his vision for Ghana to the electorate.

During his address, Wontumi highlighted the accomplishments of the NPP under President Akufo-Addo and called upon supporters to maintain that enthusiasm as they approach the forthcoming election.

The regional chairman further urged supporters in the area to organize and remain committed, encouraging them to participate in significant numbers on election day.

In his address to the party supporters, Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia delivered a strong condemnation of former President John Dramani Mahama, labeling him as the “worst president” in the annals of Ghana’s history.

He urged Ghanaians to dismiss Mahama in the upcoming December elections, emphasizing that supporting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would lead the nation in a regressive direction.

Dr. Bawumia also charged the NDC candidate with having mismanaged the economy during his previous administration, claiming that his tenure resulted in significant hardship and instability for the country.

During Mahama’s tenure as president, Ghana faced an ongoing power crisis, commonly referred to as “dumsor,” which persisted for four years. This constant interruption in power supply severely impacted many local businesses, causing some to collapse. Additionally, his administration discontinued the allowances for teachers and nurses in training.

Under his leadership, the National Health Insurance Scheme and Ambulance Service also faced significant challenges, with both struggling to operate effectively.

This clearly shows that John Mahama is the poorest-performing president in Ghana’s Fourth Republic… Whatever matters we have done better.

Dr. Bawumia’s campaign in the Ashanti Region has garnered enthusiastic reactions from both loyal party supporters and undecided voters. He persistently articulates his strategies aimed at job creation, infrastructure enhancement, and the stimulation of the Ghanaian economy.
