Communications Director for Dr. Bawumia’s Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has indicated that Dr. Bawumia will enhance the repositioning of the education system towards Science, Technology, Engeering, Arts and Maths (STEAM).
According to Mr. Aboagye, the new government led by Dr. Bawumia will prioritize education by strengthen and reorganizing the sector on various initiatives that will aid in meeting up with the necessary conditions of the 4th industrial revolution thus providing jobs in the process.
In preparing the Ghanaian Child for the 4th industrial revolution workplace, the NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Bawumia will enhance the repositioning of the education system towards STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and vocational skills to cope with demands of the 4th Industrial Revolution and Job Creation.
He mentioned that Dr. Bawumia in partnership with the private enterprise will aid in the inception of a National Open University Ghana with the main aim being on practical, skills training and ICT.
Dr. Bawumia will support and facilitate the establishment of a National Open University Ghana in collaboration with the private sector and with a focus on technical, vocational skills and ICT.
He also emphasized on the fact that the new government under Dr. Bawumia will digitalized the education sector making it more attractive which will aid in the acquisition of skills and knowledge, and will allow the youth to compete with the advanced world on the global stage.
The NPP has the future of the Ghanaian Youth at heart. The NPP and its visionary leader has the education sector of this country at heart.
