DR. BAWUMIA’S CLEAR VISION WINS HEARTS: A STRONG CONTENDER FOR PRESIDENCY

The Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive, Yohane Amarh Ashitey, has shed light on the widespread embrace of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s ongoing door-to-door campaign, attributing its success to the clarity and relatability of his policies.

In a social media write-up, Mr. Ashitey emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s ability to captivate voters stems from his presentation of realistic and understandable policies. He contrasted this with former President John Mahama’s 24-hour economy concept, which he described as confusing and impractical.

“Unlike John Mahama, whose 24-hour economy concept defies understanding, Dr. Bawumia’s policies are clear and sensible,”

the MCE stated.

He further argued that the intelligibility of Dr. Bawumia’s policies highlights the flaws in Mahama’s proposals.

“People keep asking, ‘What does a 24-hour economy really mean?’ especially since Ghana’s economy has operated around the clock since the internet age,”

he wrote.

This discussion follows a recent survey by Professor Smart Sarpong of Kumasi Technical University, showing that 38.9 percent of respondents favor Dr. Bawumia as president, compared to 36.1 percent for John Mahama. Despite this, the NDC leads in party popularity with 38.8 percent.

Dr. Bawumia’s tour across the country continues to attract large crowds, with many Ghanaians eager to hear his practical and relatable policies.

“Ghanaians are resonating with Dr. Bawumia because his policies are sensible and relatable, unlike Mahama’s ambiguous 24-hour economy,”

Mr. Ashitey concluded.
