Dr. Frank Bannor, a development economist, expressed his admiration for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s vision for digitalization and urged the public to vote in large numbers for the NPP’s presidential candidate in the upcoming December elections.
During a live discussion on Gordon Asare-Bediako’s Bɛkyerɛ Mu show, which was broadcasted on Wontumi Radio 95.9, Movement TV, and MyABC TV on Saturday, August 3, 2024, Dr. Bannor emphasized the importance of digitalization and artificial intelligence in shaping the future, as advocated by Dr. Bawumia.
For Ghana’s economy to be able to compete favourably with the rest of the world, we need Bawumia’s digitalization. We can only move into the next stage of our development with the kind of vision being espoused by Vice President Bawumia.
The Director of Research at the Danquah Institute emphasized that the era of cutlasses and hoes has long passed, as Digitalization stands as the sole driving force propelling the upcoming Industrial Revolution.
Artificial intelligence and digitalization drive the world today. Cutlasses and hoes leaders are relics of the past. Without digitalization and artificial intelligence, there is no economy today. This is why we must all support Dr Bawumia and his vision of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
He emphasized the importance of the youth’s support and vote for the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party in the upcoming December 7, 2024 elections, stating that Dr. Bawumia’s digitalization agenda revolves around artificial intelligence.
We have since gone past brick-and-mortar leadership. The world has moved 15 years ahead of bricks and mortar. We cannot play catch-up with a leader whose ideas are old-fashioned, a Stone Age leader cannot help the country in its digitalization agenda. We need Bawumia to take us to the world of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Frank Bannor believes that Bawumia’s commitment to educating one million young people in digitalization and artificial intelligence is the most effective strategy for propelling Ghana into the next millennium.
It is for this reason that I am urging the youth, in particular, to embrace the digitalization mindset of Dr Bawumia by supporting, campaigning and voting for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
