Communications Director for Dr. Bawumia’s Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has indicated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s government will focus on special needs education.
In a post on X, Mr. Aboagye revealed that Dr. Bawumia’s administration will emphasize on special need education, stating that the government will invest massively in the project to ensure inclusiveness with regards to students with special needs and in the process create jobs. He mentioned that the recruitment of specially trained teachers to aid in this project will help in the reduction of unemployment.
Dr. Bawumia’s government will also focus on special needs education. To start with, he will recruit 1,000 special education teachers and retrain teachers on how to work with special needs students.
He emphasized on the fact that investment on this project will be enormous as teachers and therapists will be trained on speech and language to help the needy and powerless in the country.
Under Visionary Dr. Bawumia, we will train more speech and language therapists and occupational and behavioural therapists to take care of the vulnerable in social and special needs.
