Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for demonstrating commendable conduct and unifying qualities throughout the years.
In a discussion on Asempa FM, the esteemed former President referred to Dr. Bawumia as a “unifier,” emphasizing that his actions are beneficial for the nation.
I have observed his good conduct. He is not divisive…Everyone knows he is a Muslim but he has a great relationship with Christians. It is very important because, in this country, many try to use religion to create a wedge…He is also a northerner but he gets along so well with everybody.
The former President expressed his trust in the Vice President’s ability to bring about transformation in Ghana, should he be elected as President.
He noted that Dr. Bawumia has shown a profound comprehension of the qualities necessary for a contemporary leader to effectuate change in a nation, particularly through his exceptional commitment to technology and digitalization.
