The administration’s focus on vocational training was also highlighted, with programs aimed at equipping Zongo youth with essential skills to improve their employability. Notable initiatives include vocational training programs for youth in Ho, Volta Region, Wa in the Upper West Region, and Damango. These programs have empowered many young people, providing them with practical skills and opportunities to secure better livelihoods.

Mrs. Firdause also lauded Dr. Mahmud Bawumia’s initiative to sponsor female students from the Zongo communities to study medicine in Cuba. She emphasized the significance of this program, particularly in enabling Muslim women to receive medical care from female doctors, in line with Islamic teachings. She urged the government to expand this scholarship initiative to train more female doctors from the Zongo communities.

In her closing remarks, Mrs. Firdause called on the electorate in the Zongo communities to support Dr. Mahmud Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 general election, emphasizing the transformative impact of the projects and policies implemented under his leadership.
