The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia stated that his tour in the North East Region was memorable and exciting. He commenced the North East region tour on May 13, 2024. After a successful Dr. Bawumia showed gratitude on his Facebook page and highlighted the people he engaged with during his tour in the region.

Dr. Bawumia cuts sod for the construction of the Gambaga sports complex will aid the youth in showcasing their talents in sports. He also commissioned a computer science lab for Nalerigu Senior High and donated 50 laptops to the school.
I took the opportunity to cut sod for the construction of a sports complex in Gambaga as well as commission a computer science lab for the Nalerigu Senior High School which I renovated and also donated fifty (50) laptops to the school
