He showcased Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to formalizing and regulating small-scale mining practices to foster sustainable development and create new opportunities for growth.
NAPO assured that under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, the next NPP government will establish a Minerals Development Bank in collaboration with the private sector to support the mining industry. Additionally, a Pension Scheme for small-scale miners will be introduced, modeled after successful programs for cocoa farmers.
