ELECTION 2024: OSEI-MENSAH PREDICTS BAWUMIA WILL SET A RECORD AS GHANA’S FIRST MUSLIM PRESIDENT WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF VOTES.

Simon Osei-Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has announced that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is poised to make history in the upcoming elections.

According to the minister, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate will not only become the first candidate to win on his initial attempt but will also achieve the highest vote margins ever recorded in Ghanaian electoral history.

The former Bosomtwe lawmaker emphasized that Bawumia’s potential presidency will represent another milestone as Ghana’s first Muslim president, symbolizing an unprecedented unity between Christians and Muslims.

He asserted that this unity will be further strengthened by Bawumia’s expected victory.

Dr. Bawumia is a record breaker, and he is set to break multiple records. He will be the first flagbearer to win on his first attempt and secure the highest vote margins. His presidency will also be a historic first as a Muslim leader, demonstrating the unity between our diverse communities.

He made these comments while handing over newly acquired road construction equipment under the government’s District Road Improvement Program (DRIP) on Friday, August 23.

The equipment, totaling over 400 units, is intended to address significant road infrastructure challenges in the region.

Osei-Mensah warned against the potential misuse of the equipment for illegal activities, such as illegal mining. He noted that government appointees could face sanctions if the equipment ends up being used for illegal activities, including galamsey sites.
