These Bold Solutions will seek to address the issues and problems in the country serving as lasting Panacea Ghanaians have been waiting for. Under the Energy sector, Dr. Bawumia outlined these two unique initiatives to tackle the issues affecting the sector.
1.Diversify energy generation with solar and wind power
Diversification of energy generation brings economic, environmental, and social benefits, while also offering new investment opportunities. By combining various renewable technologies such as solar and wind power, we can create a balanced and reliable energy mix. Having a diverse energy mix is usually considered an important part of energy security, having multiple sources will allows us as country to continue without disruption if one source of energy fails.
2.More private sector participation in energy generation and retail
This policy seeks to bring on board the private sector to actively participate in energy generation and retail to aid in our national development and also help in sustaining our energy services.
